Contributing Writers

Being a contributor for Carpe Juvenis is an excellent way to enhance your resume and get meaningful experience writing for an online publication.

Here are the details:

How many stories are due per week? Writers contribute one article per week to Carpe Juvenis. Of course, if you want to write more than one article, that is fantastic.

I’ve never written for a publication before, is that okay? Of course! If you have experiences and stories to share, that’s what matters. You have to start somewhere.

What can I write about? You can write about leadership, athletics, travel, volunteering, finance, high school, college, and personal interests and passions. Topics can be personalized and tailored to your own interests and experiences.

Who do I send my articles to? Once you are a contributor, you will first send your story ideas to Lauren. We keep track of who is writing about certain topics so that there isn’t too much overlap. Once your ideas get the green light, write away! Then, you’ll send your articles back to Lauren for publishing. You’ll get your own byline and author bio.
